Annual Exhibition

Each Spring, the club has its Annual Exhibition.

All club members can enter, and our aim is to have every member able to have at least one piece of work on show. Entry is always subject to the conditions which ensure that the quality of the exhibition is maintained.

There is only a very modest charge for entering the Annual Exhibition. The Lillie Art Gallery retains 30% +VAT of the sale price of each item.

For many years the Annual Exhibition has been held at The Lillie Art Gallery in Milngavie.

The exhibition is over four weeks and the club is indebted to the gallery staff for their skill in hanging the work, mainly paintings but also including ceramic and textiles.

The Lillie Art Gallery has an impressive permanent collection, and holds exhibitions throughout the year displaying both parts of its own collection and also special exhibitions which attract interest from near and far.

Many now famous artists began their career at our annual exhibition. We hope that others will follow.

2025 Annual Exhibition

This took place at The Lillie Art Gallery Milngavie from 5th April to the 8th May. 

Most of the club members' work was for sale, in this well established gallery which also houses part of the permanent collection of East Dunbartonshire Council.

The exhibition appeals to those with an interest in the visual arts, including paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolour, ceramics, textiles, sculpture and multi-media.

Club prize-winners display their work alongside other work by members (some of whom may be exhibiting for the first time).
