About Bearsden Art Club

Established in 1953, Bearsden Art Club has been a cornerstone of artistic expression in the community for over 70 years. With a rich history and a commitment to creativity, our club offers a wide range of opportunities for artists and art enthusiasts alike.

Monthly programmes at New Kilpatrick Hall

Join us each month at the New Kilpatrick Hall in Bearsden for an exciting line up of demonstrations, where members come together to learn, share and inspire.

In addition to our monthly programmes, Bearsden Art Club offers painting classes, art exhibitions and demonstrations, providing members with ample opportunities to explore their artistic passions and connect with fellow artists.

Annual Exhibition

The annual exhibition is one of the highlights of the year. Held each spring at the Lillie Art Gallery in Milngavie it offers visitors the chance to see some of our members' recent work and the opportunity to chat to the artists and discover more about the Club.

Membership Details

Membership is open to individuals aged 21 and above, with a limit of 200 members. While priority is given to residents of Bearsden and Milngavie those living nearby are also eligible for membership.
